West and Shina made the decision in 2014 to go into the full time Wedding DJ industry. While they were both previously in the school system their was a realization that they wanted to foster, grow, and put their hearts and souls into something that was THEIRS. West’s energetic personality along with his love for music and people MIXED with Shina’s organization, attention to detail, and knowledge of business structure really kick started them to create what you now see as Dream Team Events!

West has a background in sociology, which allows him to connect and interact with guests really well. He has a great understanding of people and is determined to find out what it will take to hype up your event as well as emotionally connect with exactly how you envision your day to be!
Shina is a wife, mama, christ follower, morning coffee sipper and an entrepreneur extraordinaire! She has her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Information Technology from Old Dominion University. Her favorite people in the world are her two boys, Jaxson and Carter, along with her husband Westley!

Joshua and Melissa Green

Josh and Melissa have always been dreamers. Their desire to serve and make peoples dreams a reality is what drove them to the wedding and entertainment industry. In their free time, they love to spend time with their three kids Ellie, Emmett, and Emory anywhere that’s outside or with other family members and friends (especially the beach!)
Josh is in charge of the overall operations of Dream Team Events. He graduated from George Washington University with a degree in Health Science, followed by a Masters in Business Administration from Liberty university. He is currently a Firefighter with the City of Virginia Beach.
Melissa grew up in an entrepreneurial household and quickly understood the value of owning as well as operating a business. Shortly out of High school, she decided to start her own successful small business that quickly had her known in the Hampton Roads Area as “Mel the Dog Walker” for a number of years. While she is mainly in charge of client relations, she also has a hand in many of the behind the scenes operations of Dream Team Events.
